An NC State-funded research project needs your help to make cooking easier and safer for all people….(more info on our vision)

Why we need your help

There is simply no substitute for actually talking to people with experience.  In order to truly understand the safety and usability issues involved, we need to conduct observations of home cooking, and conduct a short interview.

How you can help

1) In-Home Observation+ Interview

• Cooking observation: You cook while we watch and take notes.  The observation will allow us to discover opportunities for improvement, and ensure that we don’t overlook small details that could have big impacts on users. We’ll also take photos and/or video if you grant us permission (though the observation is still very useful to us even if you prefer not to be photographed or videotaped).  (Why in-home?)
• Interview: We sit down and talk with you about your cooking experience, and get your thoughts on what we could do to make it better.
